VOMS Admin v. 2.6.1

Release Notes

This is the first EMI release for VOMS Admin.

What's new:

• EMI packaging: VOMS admin has been repackaged to be compliant with EMI packaging policies.

• Main changes: voms-admin CLI is now installed in /usr/bin. voms-admin-configure is now installed in /usr/sbin. Configuration files for VOs are now found in /etc/voms-admin/.

• CERN OrgDB integration plugin VOMS Admin now provides integration with the CERN organizational database. When OrgDB integration is active:
  • registration requests are validated so that only applicants present in the OrgDB can apply for VO membership.
  • VO membership expiration time is linked to OrgDB membership expiration.

• Common VO SAML profile :This release of VOMS Admin provides a SAML attribute authority implementing the common VO SAML profile described

Known Issues:

• VOMS Admin Sign AUP default grace period is too short
• VOMS Admin does not send warning message before suspending users due to membership expiration
